 We need to KEEP VOTING for Billy Currington's newly released video Let Me Down Easy on the GAC Top 20 Videos.
This sultry soulful love song is sung in his rythm and blues signature style that he loves to sing and sings oh so well. It is off of his latest 2010 album Enjoy Yourself which also contains the catchy #1 song Pretty Good at Drinkin' Beer that a stays with a person throughout the day.
Even though Let Me Down Easy, written by Jennifer Hanson, Mark Nesler, and Marty Dodson, was just released it is currently at the top of all the big download lists on online music stores such as iTunes or Amazon and is currently the social buzz on many other networks like YouTube. It quickly gained the #1 position on the Billboard counrty charts making this scorching song Billy's 4th #1 hit in a row and his 6th overall.
This song is about a man falling absolutely in love on the beach and realizing it while letting his lady know that she has to be careful with his heart and to treat him right. The imagery the vocals the story presents to us is both complelling and vivid in its imagery, "There's a little moonlight...dancing on the sand. There's a warm breeze blowin'". It is complimented nicely with the backdrop being set with an accoustical arrangement that gets grooves a listener with its sliding steel, bass, and electric guitars and sends you languidly through the riffs while blending well with the vivid imagery presented.
 On April 18th, 2011 he quickly gained the GAC Top 20 Video Chart by coming in at the #17 spot. Then on April 23rd he flew up the charts 10 spots to claim the #7 slot, while last week he moved up ANOTHER 3 spots to the #4 position. It is time to step up as fans and Let's get Billy's video to the Number #1 postition! He is currently the holding the #4 spot.
